Communication Between Others Doctors, student, salesmen, cooks, police officers, teachers. it doesn't matter who you are, you will need to interpret instructions both written and verbally communicated. While attending Penn College, I have to be well versed in understanding each of my teacher's instructions in order to complete assignments, tests, and other objectives. Each instructor has their own way of communicating their assignments. Some teachers post on the class site their assignments which each student needs to interpret the standard which needs to be met. Other teachers will inform the students verbally on assignments.   Employers Want Committed Employees To be a valued employee one needs to hold a status that an employer wants. For example, when a company is looking for an HVAC salesperson, they want that individual to have many characteristics. They can have the following but not limited to communication skills, knowledge on equipment being sold, continued education, integrity, and want work. There are many more qualities, but overall, a company wants someone who is committed to their job and can show that they know what they're doing.
